Do you use generative AI in your designs?
Short answer: No.
Longer answer: Also no. All designs are created by a human artist working in traditional or digital media.
Where are the pins manufactured?
China. There are no large-scale pin manufacturing facilities in the United States, and the smaller ones are considerably more expensive for production.
What’s the difference between hard enamel and soft enamel pins?
Hard enamel pins take more steps to finish, including a separate bake for each color of enamel, and they are a slightly more durable pin with fewer design details. Hard enamel pins are level across the surface, without raised metal edges or detailing. The metal plating is visible but the whole pin is a single shiny polished plane.
Soft enamel pins have a partially filled pin design, resulting in a more organic look and texture with clearer details. They are not polished flat, so the metal can be colored as well and stands out from the enamel.
Why a s’more?
During the long lockdowns of 2020, three creative friends with their own specialties and creative businesses found a way to get together safely with outdoor gatherings, sharing meals cooked outdoors. A project to test new s’more ideas developed, and after selecting the best they launched their first co-creation, S’moregasbord: 101 Novel S’more Recipes to Try. (There are more than 101; that number just looked better on the cover.) This first project is referenced in the current name and logo.
Why a wombat?
C’mon, wombats are cute.
So, do you tend to shout, “Finish him!” while working?
No. But we do believe a handful of people in a leaky boat can save the world, and that’s why we do what we do.
